Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams on API design and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based application development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
