Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with data services to ensure reliable healthcare EDI transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve structured healthcare data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data delivery and participate in code reviews

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Working knowledge of cloud services, particularly AWS or Azure
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
