Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and API integration.

Key responsibilities

• Build and support a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for retrieving and transforming healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure accurate data delivery to users

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development and API integration
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
