Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs for healthcare EDI transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and implement RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve and transform healthcare records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and contribute to an Angular-based dashboard front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end integration using Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience with Angular and building RESTful APIs that handle structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with API Gateway and Lambda
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with unit and integration testing frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
