Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build and maintain cloud-based applications, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal data services to enhance healthcare data processing.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for transforming and serving healthcare records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and contribute to an Angular-based front-end

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Strong understanding of structured healthcare data and EDI transactions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
