Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, develop RESTful APIs, and integrate EDI healthcare data services.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for EDI healthcare records, ensuring reliable data delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end Angular components and back-end services effectively

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, specifically Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, particularly in healthcare or enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks, including API integration
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
