Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) - II will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy for business and clinical users

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs that consume and transform structured data (XML, JSON)
• Hands-on experience with Angular and the ability to integrate APIs into front-end components
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
