Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) - II will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for healthcare data processing
• Support and enhance an Angular-based dashboard front-end by integrating APIs and developing components
• Write clean, testable code and perform unit and integration testing across back-end services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs for structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end applications
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
