Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) - II will build, maintain, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring data accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for healthcare data processing
• Support an Angular-based dashboard front-end by integrating APIs and maintaining components
• Write clean, testable code and perform unit and integration testing across back-end services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating back-end services with front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services, including API Gateway and Lambda
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
