Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer (Angular/NodeJS) - II will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate with internal data services while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure reliable data delivery across services

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating with Angular front-end applications
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure), including API Gateway and Lambda
• Strong knowledge of structured healthcare data and EDI transactions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
