Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions, design RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support a cloud-based Web Dashboard application and RESTful APIs for healthcare data processing
• Integrate with internal platform APIs and EDI processing pipelines to deliver accurate EDI transaction data
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of back-end services on AWS while promoting best software engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, particularly Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs for structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based application deployment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
