Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to serve EDI healthcare records
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and ensure data accuracy

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java and/or NodeJS)
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and handling structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular or another modern front-end framework
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and related tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
