Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions while designing and maintaining RESTful APIs and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, integrating with internal platform APIs and data services
• Support an Angular-based dashboard front-end, ensuring accurate data delivery to business and clinical users

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and API Gateway
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
