Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and integrate healthcare data services while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for processing healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS, ensuring reliable data delivery and integration with internal platforms
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to define API contracts and support deployment and monitoring of services on AWS

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on back-end technologies, specifically Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs that serve structured healthcare data
• Hands-on experience with Angular and integrating APIs into front-end components
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with API Gateway, Lambda, and related tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
