Full Stack Developer
Job Summary
To support the VA T4NG Consolidated Corporate Support Services program, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer will collaborate with various stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain Angular applications, integrate backend workflows, and create custom Java plugins.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new features in VA applications while providing guidance on AngularJS upgrades
- Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize Java-based applications, APIs, and backend services
- Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with five or more years of experience
- Proficiency in AngularJS (version 14 or higher) and Java (minimum of four years)
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST API development, SQL, and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control (Git)
- Ability to obtain a VA Position of Public Trust - Medium Background Investigation (MBI)
