Full Stack Developer II

Job Summary

To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Full Stack Developer II will build and maintain a cloud-based Web Dashboard application, design RESTful APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data delivery and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS for data retrieval and transformation
• Collaborate with internal teams to define API contracts and ensure accurate data presentation

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong back-end focus in Java and/or NodeJS
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating Angular front-end components
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and familiarity with EDI healthcare data
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position
