Full Stack Engineer II

Job Summary

To enhance Yahoo's security capabilities, the full-time salaried Full Stack Engineer II will design and build scalable security platform features and microservices using Java, Go, and JavaScript/Node, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ideate, design, and build scalable security platform features and microservices to improve resilience against threats
• Utilize AI development tools to accelerate code implementation and conduct thorough testing and maintenance of security infrastructure
• Collaborate with security architects and product managers to translate technical security requirements into operational solutions

Required qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience building scalable applications or platform services
• Primary proficiency in Java, with secondary experience in Go and/or JavaScript/Node
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools for software feature implementation and testing
• Core understanding of object-oriented design, distributed systems, and web service APIs
