Full Stack Java Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly technical Full Stack Java Developer for a full-time remote position, responsible for maintaining and enhancing backend and web-based applications while contributing to the evolution of a modular trade management platform.
Key responsibilities
- Contributes to the design, development, and implementation of backend services and web applications
- Writes clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while collaborating with frontend developers to integrate backend services with UI components
- Participates in Agile teams, breaking down user stories into technical tasks and ensuring the stability and reliability of existing systems
Required qualifications
- 5-8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong Java fundamentals (Java 21 preferred) and solid experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs, along with good knowledge of React (version 17) and SQL relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Proficiency in version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle), with a strong focus on clean code and unit testing
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with trading platforms or broader financial services systems is preferred
