Full Stack Java Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Full Stack Java Engineer (Backend-Focused).

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end development, testing, maintenance, and integration of applications within a SAFe Agile framework
• Contribute to modernization initiatives including rules engine rewrite and enrollment API development
• Lead brainstorming sessions to innovate and develop robust apps, APIs, and data solutions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of five years of experience in full-stack application development with advanced Java, Spring/Spring Boot, SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), REST APIs, and Microservices
• Frontend experience in a JavaScript framework, preferably React
• Proficient in developing unit tests (JUnit/Spock) and version control
• Self-driven, accountable, and collaborative with a strong commitment to teamwork
• Ability to work remotely with a high-speed internet connection, located in the United States or Puerto Rico
