Full-stack JavaScript Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Full-stack JavaScript Developer will analyze and improve system design, establish robust observability systems, and collaborate with development partners to enhance the reliability and performance of applications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and improve system design to reduce failure modes and promote self-healing systems
• Establish and maintain robust systems for observability, including logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Collaborate with service engineers to set Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for backend services

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in Golang and JavaScript, with solid engineering and coding skills
• Experience designing, implementing, and deploying microservices and service-oriented APIs
• Strong understanding of large-scale distributed systems and Linux fundamentals
