Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and supporting high-quality solutions for member and agent portals, the full-time Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will work remotely, utilizing expertise in frontend and backend technologies within a microservices and AWS-based environment while collaborating with onshore and offshore teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain application features across frontend (React, Next.js) and backend services (Python, Go, node.js)
• Implement RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring adherence to SOLID design principles and microservices best practices
• Own services through the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4-7+ years of professional software engineering experience in full stack or backend-focused roles
• Hands-on expertise in frontend technologies (React, Next.js) and backend technologies (Python, Go, node.js)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
• Experience with AWS services, including EKS, Lambda, and API Gateway
