Full Stack Tech Lead with Clearance

Job Summary

To lead a dynamic app team, the Full Stack Tech Lead with Clearance will work full-time in a remote setting, guiding technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and driving systems design for secure, scalable platforms used by military and government clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, establishing best practices and conducting code reviews
• Drive full-stack systems design decisions, including API architecture and data models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch features quickly while enforcing production-grade coding standards

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including leadership roles
• Proficiency in full stack development with strong skills in React, Express.js, and relational databases
• Experience leading AI-enabled development teams and implementing automated testing
• Deep understanding of systems design, REST APIs, and asynchronous messaging patterns
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; active Secret or TS clearance preferred
