Functional QA Engineer
Job Summary
To support quality assurance activities for system development and data migration efforts, the contract Functional QA Engineer will develop and execute test cases, validate system functionality, and collaborate with teams, all while working remotely for a duration of 6+ months.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect validation
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Experience with enterprise application testing and SDLC processes
- Knowledge of test management tools and defect tracking systems
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
