Functional Safety Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Functional Safety Engineer to enhance the safety of autonomous driving technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute functional safety analyses to identify hazards and assess safety risks
• Define and manage functional safety requirements and safety concepts for system architecture
• Oversee safety readiness processes and ensure compliance with international safety standards

Required Qualifications

• MS or higher in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of functional safety engineering experience in safety-critical systems
• Expertise in delivering ASIL D certified products and full safety case ownership
• Extensive experience with complex safety analyses for autonomous or complex E/E systems
• Demonstrated technical project management skills for managing multiple safety-critical projects
