Functional Safety Lead, Automotive

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Functional Safety Lead, Silicon.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Functional Safety activities, development methodology, and assessments for custom automotive silicon
• Collaborate with the safety team, engineers, and external partner teams to ensure state-of-the-art practices and processes are adopted
• Architect creative solutions

Required Qualifications

• MS or higher in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• 8 years of technical experience in Functional Safety for automotive
• Complete understanding of automotive standards (e.g. ISO26262) and application to silicon product life cycle
• Leadership experience of in-house and partner teams
• Hands-on experience with safety management tools, fault metric analysis, FMEDAs, and implementation of safety mechanisms
