Functional Test Engineer
Job Summary
To validate an enterprise Department of Veterans Affairs Pega solution, the remote Functional Test Engineer will develop and execute test plans, perform various testing types, and document results while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain functional test plans, scenarios, and scripts, ensuring traceability to requirements
- Execute system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across Pega workflows and user roles
- Collaborate with analysts and developers to clarify expected behavior and resolve defects
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in functional testing, system testing, and UAT support
- Experience in developing and executing traceable test plans and defect reports
- Ability to test complex workflows and business rules
- Experience in Agile delivery environments with technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with test-management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
