Fund Accountant
Job Summary
Owning the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of funds, the full-time remote Fund Accountant will manage financial accounting, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting while collaborating with banking, legal, audit, and tax partners.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee fund operations including financial accounting, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and investor-level allocations
- Collaborate with external service providers to enhance the investor and fund sponsor experience
Required qualifications
- 2-3+ years of experience in fund administration or private markets (venture capital or private equity)
- Familiarity with fund accounting concepts and reporting requirements in private markets
- Experience in a regulated industry
- Strong analytical skills across quantitative and qualitative metrics
