Fund Accountant Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate, Fund Accountant to support hedge fund and alternative investment clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records for portfolio investments, including processing trades and reconciling cash and positions
• Record fund operating expenses, reconcile bank accounts, and calculate investor-level fees
• Prepare financial statements and portfolio schedules, ensuring accuracy in investor performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or portfolio accounting
• Exposure to hedge funds, crypto funds, or alternative investment vehicles
• Familiarity with portfolio accounting systems or fund accounting software
• Experience supporting audits or NAV processes
• Proficient in Excel
