Fund Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to support hedge fund and alternative investment clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement and manage a portfolio of client relationships
• Create work plans for fund accounting staff and monitor progress on engagements
• Prepare and review financial statements, investor allocations, and manage the audit process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a staff of accountants
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Preferred experience with fund administration and auditing Hedge Funds and Alternative Investment Funds
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting or related fund administration work
