Job Summary

To support the financial operations of the Moores Cancer Center, the full-time salaried Fund Manager - Cancer Center will manage comprehensive financial analysis for a portfolio of faculty, ensuring compliance with grant processes and accurate reporting, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial analysis and support for pre and post-award processes related to research funding
• Interface with faculty and administrators to ensure compliance with contract and grant regulations, and manage financial reporting
• Develop and oversee research proposals and awards, ensuring accurate transaction processing and adherence to institutional policies

Required qualifications

• Seven years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related area plus three years of relevant experience
• Thorough understanding of research administration guidelines and experience with contract and grant proposal management
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations related to research funding
• Demonstrated competence in financial analysis and the use of spreadsheet and database software
• Ability to analyze and prepare budgets, identify spending patterns, and project future expenditures
