Job Summary

Overseeing a foundation portfolio, the full-time Funder Relations Manager will lead grant writing and compliance, supervise resource mobilization staff, and build strong funder relationships while centering grassroots leadership and justice initiatives in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and deadlines
• Lead the grant writing process, developing proposals that align with advocacy-focused philanthropy
• Supervise and support resource mobilization staff to enhance fundraising efforts

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing a grant portfolio of $6M or more
• Strong writing skills with a focus on grant proposals and compliance documentation
• Experience in project management, particularly in nonprofit or advocacy settings
• Familiarity with grassroots leadership principles and racial, economic, and climate justice
• Background in resource mobilization and fundraising strategies
