Funding Compliance Director

Job Summary

Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations related to Federal Student Aid, the full-time hybrid Director of Funding Compliance will oversee compliance operations, regulatory reporting, and internal controls while collaborating across departments to maintain audit readiness and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure institutional compliance with Title IV, VA, TA, and other funding regulations
• Manage compliance reporting processes and oversee audit preparation and program reviews
• Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, and compliance training materials across departments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Higher Education, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
• Minimum seven years of experience administering Title IV Financial Aid programs in higher education
• Minimum three years of leadership or supervisory experience in financial aid compliance or regulatory operations
• Strong knowledge of Title IV regulations and federal/state funding programs
• Working knowledge of Department of Education systems and experience supporting audits and compliance reporting
