Job Summary
Providing essential support for funding processes, the full-time Funding Coordinator will review medical documentation, submit prior authorizations, and maintain follow-up on requests while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review medical documentation for accuracy and medical necessity
- Submit prior authorization requests with required documentation to appropriate funding sources
- Act as a subject matter expert by training new team members and assisting with inquiries
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Six months of medical documentation-related experience or training required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to use technology effectively
