Funding Payer Specialist

Job Summary

Coordinating with various stakeholders, the full-time remote Funding Payer Specialist will manage the transaction cycle for payer authorizations, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted timely for equipment and repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Assists in managing transaction cycle time from Ready to Submit to Final Funding Approval
• Validates and coordinates required documentation for funding packages, including prescriptions and Letters of Medical Necessity
• Communicates with payers and clients to secure necessary authorizations and updates throughout the funding process

Required qualifications

• 2 years' experience in Complex Rehab Technology, Medical Billing, or Funding preferred
• High school diploma or G.E.D
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
