Funding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Funding Specialist for a 6-month contract with benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with loan origination team, closing agents, and borrowers for a smooth closing experience
• Process loans accurately and timely, ensuring all documents are present and conditions met
• Propose improvements to the closing process for efficiency and client satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 3-5 years of experience in document drawing and/or funding
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills and a strong desire to learn
• Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, Google Docs & Sheets, and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience in the residential or business purpose mortgage space is a plus
