Funding Specialist Lead

Job Summary

Coordinating with various stakeholders, the full-time remote Funding Specialist Lead will ensure operational procedures are followed, manage transaction cycles for funding approvals, and provide guidance to Funding Specialists while maintaining compliance with company policies and insurance guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the transaction cycle time from Coding and Pricing Complete to Documentation Complete, ensuring timely and accurate funding processes
• Provide education and support to Funding Specialists, addressing errors and facilitating communication with referral sources and clients
• Conduct routine audits and performance monitoring to identify coaching opportunities and ensure high standards of staff performance

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment and/or Complex Rehab Technology, with knowledge of funding processes
• Extensive understanding of insurance guidelines and verification processes for Durable Medical Equipment
• Experience with data management systems and applications such as Mobility Advisor
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage and develop remote teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ability to analyze and interpret business reports
