Funding Specialist Lead

Job Summary

Managing funding operations remotely, the full-time Funding Specialist Lead will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate order reviews, compliance with policies, and timely funding approvals while providing guidance and education to Funding Specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the transaction cycle time to ensure timely processing and quality of funding approval
• Review documentation for funding packages, ensuring compliance with payer guidelines and educating stakeholders on requirements
• Provide direction and support to the Funding Specialist team, facilitating problem-solving and performance monitoring

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment and/or Complex Rehab Technology
• Extensive knowledge of insurance guidelines and funding processes for Durable Medical Equipment
• Experience with data management systems and applications such as Mobility Advisor
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage and develop remote teams
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis using Excel
