Furniture Designer

Job Summary

Leading the visual evolution of a premium home furnishings portfolio, the contract Furniture Designer will design, develop, and execute furniture concepts while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute furniture concepts aligned with seasonal direction and business needs
• Create detailed design presentations, renderings, and technical artwork while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborate with Product Development and Merchant teams to translate trend direction and customer needs into innovative product concepts

Required qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in design, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in furniture or hard home product development strongly preferred
• Passion for home furnishings, including trends, materials, color, and finishes
