FX Artist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FX Artist to join their Visual Effects team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Lead Artist and other departments to deliver high-quality visual effects
• Provide technical setup, integration, and troubleshooting of real-time FX
• Create and document FX textures and specifications to support the artistic vision

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience as an FX artist and/or art lead
• Working knowledge of 3D rendering engines and experience with FX shaders and particle systems
• Exceptional understanding of VFX pipelines and tools
• Strong understanding of real-time simulation and performance within Unreal Engine
• Mastery of relevant software packages such as Houdini, Substance, and Photoshop
