G/L Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time remote G/L Accountant will perform complex account reconciliations, prepare the general ledger for monthly and year-end closings, and assist with annual audit preparations while maintaining compliance with GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Support period-end close procedures through balance sheet reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger
• Prepare balance sheet and Profit and Loss statement variance analysis for financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting standards
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
