GAAP Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GAAP Insurance Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Leverage modern finance tools and AI-based solutions to improve efficiency and reporting insights

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in Insuretech or Fintech
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting, specializing in premium recognition, claims, and reserves
• Familiarity with accounting software and proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ideally experience implementing or improving finance systems or processes
