GAAP Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the Accounting Manager, the full-time remote GAAP Accountant will manage key elements of the financial close process, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly accounting close process, preparing journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and improve accounting processes with a focus on internal controls
• Collaborate with the Finance team to analyze historical results and support automation and system implementation projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Ability to apply technical accounting knowledge to real-world business transactions
• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
