GAAP Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the Controller's Financial Reporting team, the full-time GAAP Financial Reporting Specialist will prepare internal and external financial reports, assist with the implementation of Workday Financials, and support the annual external audit process, with opportunities for hybrid work or fully remote arrangements for qualified candidates in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Compile annual U.S. GAAP financial statements and prepare interim and annual reporting for regulators
• Collaborate with the Financial Reporting team to ensure accurate reporting within Workday Financials
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules for the annual external audit process

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience
• Public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including Long-Duration Targeted Improvements (LDTI)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
