GAAP Senior Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GAAP Senior Consultant to join their Public Sector group, focusing on advisory and accounting needs for state and local governments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed upon procedures, and special projects
• Identify accounting and reporting issues based on professional guidelines, providing recommendations for improvements
• Supervise staff, evaluate performance on client engagements, and assist with recruiting activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's Degree or other advanced degree preferred
• CPA preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a professional services firm
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards
• Demonstrated skills in client service, relationship building, and collaboration
