GAAP Senior Consultant

Job Summary

To support the Public Sector group, the full-time GAAP Senior Consultant will oversee U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, identify financial statement issues, and provide recommendations for process improvements while building client relationships and supervising staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting
• Identify accounting and reporting issues based on professional guidelines
• Supervise and lead staff while providing guidance and evaluating performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's Degree or advanced degree preferred
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum five years of experience in a professional services firm providing attest services
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards
• Demonstrated skills in client service, relationship building, and Microsoft Suite
