Job Summary
Seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Game Analyst/Color Commentator for a full-time temporary position, this role will provide expert commentary and analysis on sporting events during live broadcasts and studio segments, utilizing strong analytical skills and an on-air presence to make complex information accessible to audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Provide in-depth analysis and commentary on sporting events, games, and tournaments during live broadcasts
- Serve as the color commentator, collaborating with play-by-play announcers to narrate key plays and strategies
- Conduct research and prepare detailed information on teams and athletes to support accurate analysis and commentary
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, broadcasting, sports management, or a related field preferred
- Five or more years of experience in sports broadcasting, journalism, or on-air analysis preferred
- Experience providing live color commentary or game analysis for various broadcast platforms preferred
- Working knowledge of broadcast equipment and production software
