Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Game Systems Engineer will own the technical design, development, and rollout of medium-complexity features and systems while collaborating with content creators and other engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Own the technical design, development, testing, documentation, rollout, and support of medium-complexity features and systems
- Translate product and creative goals into practical technical solutions, identifying dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs early
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code while investigating and resolving technical issues
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with C#
- Experience in at least three game engineering domains such as gameplay, UI, or performance optimization
- Demonstrated ability to own medium-complexity features or systems from design through rollout and support
- Experience shipping at least one commercial game or substantial production release is preferred
