Job Summary

A company in the Creative Design industry is looking for a Games Studio Senior VFX Artist.

Position Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and create in-game visual effects using available tools in Unity
• Work collaboratively with game designers and engineers to understand gameplay requirements and to effectively communicate gameplay mechanics
• Ensure VFX assets are built efficiently and within game constraints and given timelines

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience creating real-time special VFX for video games
• Experience creating VFX in Unity and with 2D animated VFX
• Experience with traditional 3D applications and particle editors, as well as AfterEffects or similar programs for pre-visualizing VFX
• Advanced knowledge of most game development tools and ability to master proprietary tools and development processes
• Experience with repository tools (Git, SVN) and project management software like JIRA
