Gaming Licensed Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Backend Software Engineer will develop systems and APIs for applications, ensuring scalability and availability while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain systems and APIs that support a wide range of applications for users
• Emphasize agility and scalability in product development, adapting quickly to changing requirements
• Lead engineering efforts or transition into a management role as the team grows

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of development experience in object-oriented programming using languages such as C# or Java
• Strong knowledge of OOP and REST design principles
• 2+ years of relational database experience, including schema design and SQL
• Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Apache, Kafka) and distributed systems
• Familiarity with AI tools is preferred
