Job Summary

Leading high-impact product initiatives, the full-time salaried Software Engineering Manager, Backend will manage engineering teams, define technical strategy, and ensure alignment with company goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams responsible for core product areas, ensuring consistent delivery across multiple initiatives
• Drive strategic alignment and execution between engineering and business teams, establishing clear priorities and communication with stakeholders
• Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior contributors, fostering a high-performing and inclusive team culture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training
• At least 5 years of experience in a full-stack environment with 4+ years managing software engineering teams
• Deep expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as C# or Java, with hands-on experience in .NET Framework or .NET Core
• Experience deploying and maintaining high-throughput, cloud-based systems, ideally within AWS
• A collaborative approach to working with cross-functional stakeholders to influence product strategy
